Page From My Journal

A page from my Journal:March 1, 2007

Lifehouse: "you steal my heart, you take my breathe away, will you take me in deeper now. How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you, would you tell me how could it be any better than this..you calm the storms and you give me rest, you hold me in your hands and won't let me fall...You're all I want, You're all I need, You're everything, everything...JESUS....

I'm laying here realizing that I am blessed...just listening to a message by Kate Merrick (Britt Merricks wife) and she was sharing about what Paul went through on his mission. I can not complain..all I can be is so thankful.
Being here has showed me what life is about truly, about loosing yourself...about HIM. "how can I stand here and not be moved by you"..lifehouse
Stand here in South Africa seeing what I see before my eyes..the way people live...the way people don't live. Someone coming to your door to wash your car for money and being blessed by giving him more than what he asked (which was so little to start), having a bunch of school kids come to your door all at once being so excited to see and ask you to participate in their fundraiser..how do you choose out of those sweet faces and then they ask for water and you openly give them bottled cold water when they would've been more than happy and satisfied with cool tap water..which by the way tap tastes so much better than bottled in some areas....or looking out of your guest room window at night and noticing the same old lady sleeps near the side of the house..has her blanket and is pretty safe.
Yesterday we went to the mall in Paarl to buy Michael some sandals, not sure where to go nothing is familiar, but notice a kids store...we go in and the lady behind the counter openly befriends us and wants to help. She asked us our reason here and we shared....her eyes light up with excitement believing it was a divine appointment for her from the Lord as we prayed for her and she was blessed with tears. GOD is good.
"You tell me how could it be better than this"...Lifehouse
